How to Vote

There are three ways to vote in the City of Frederick Municipal Election. Elected offices include the Mayor and five at-large Board of Aldermen members.

 

Vote by Mail

Mail ballots will be sent to all voters the second week in October. Complete your ballot and return it per the instructions via mail or at one of five drop box locations. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by November 2 and received by the City by 4:30 PM on November 5 to be counted.

Drop boxes for mail-in ballots will be at the following locations: 

Frederick County Board of Elections - 340A Montevue Lane

Talley Recreation Center - 121 North Bentz Street

Hillcrest Commons - 1150 Orchard Terrace

Housing Authority Office - 209 Madison Street

Frederick Community College - 7932 Opossumtown Pike 

Governor Thomas Johnson High School - 1501 North Market Street

Trinity School - 6040 New Design Road

 

Vote Early In Person

Vote Early in person from October 27 to 30 from 7am to 8pm at Trinity School, 6040 New Design Road.

 

Vote In Person on Election Day

Vote in person on Election Day on November 2 from 7am to 8pm at Trinity School, 6040 New Design Road.
